Looking for an experienced trombone player to round out your sound? Brad is available to perform with your orchestra, jazz band or big band ensemble. Funk, blues jazz, classical or rock and roll, he can swing with the best of them in any genre.


Brad, at the age of 11, began his musical career and started down the road to being a distinctive orchestral, wind ensemble and jazz trombone player. In junior high school, Brad was invited to perform with the South West Texas University Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble. In high school, he He was also awarded the UIL Outstanding Trombone Soloist and University of Texas’s Outstanding Jazz Soloist awards award two years in a row. Before leaving high school, Brad sold his first commercial “jingle” which was used on a national television commercial.


He studied under several acclaimed trombonists and music educators and performers including, Dr. Neil Humfeld, Charles Hurt, Frank Crisafulli, from the Chicago Symphony, Dr. Donald Knaub, from the Eastman School of Music as well as with Bill Watrous and Frank Rehak.



Brad has spent countless hours in the studio recording trombone tracks for television shows, movie productions and musical performers. He has written and arraigned music for radio and television commercials, traffic reports, stage plays, orchestral wind ensembles, concerts and high school marching bands. In 2001, he opened Of Sound Mind Studios, where he offered live and studio recording sessions.



As a performer, he has played with countless musical pop legends including: The Beach Boys, Marie Osmond, The Temptations, Dolly Parton, Reba Macintyre, James Darin, Brian Wilson, Jonnie Mathis, Mel Torme, Edgar Winter, The Four Freshman, “Blue” Lou Marini, Philip Lassiter, Levon Helm, Kerby Stewart, Buddy Mohmed and the Dallas Jazz Orchestra. Classically, he has also performed with the Austin Symphony, the Dallas Wind Symphony and the Texas Wind Symphony.
